CatholicMax.com Ordering Policy

Payment Methods Accepted

Credit Cards: We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. CatholicMax.com does not ship C.O.D., PayPal or wired payments, and do not offer third party billing. Within the continental United States, we also accept payment by personal/business checks or money orders. Personal or business checks and some money orders, require up to 15 days hold until cleared before processing an order. Since we ship many of our thousands of products from various Manufacturers nationwide, all orders are charged at the time placed for processing.

Standard Shipping Method

We strive to bring you the best service for your money when shipping your order. That's why we use USPS Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation and Insurance. We ship even the smallest item by US Priority Mail, Delivery Confirmation, Insured, to protect against loss or damage in transit. Therefore, the least shipping cost you will pay totals to $8.50, which includes a handling fee to the standard USPS rates for Priority Mail, Delivery Confirmation and Insurance. Certain items can only be shipped UPS ground.

Bulk orders will show an incorrect Shipping Cost at Checkout and you will be charged the difference of actual shipping cost plus any handling and insurance charges.

Express Shipping is available.

We insure all packages as we are not responsible for lost or stolen packages enroute to you, and insurance protects you from such catastrophe. You may request no insurance, but at your own risk, as we will not be held liable for any uninsured package damaged, lost or stolen enroute to you, and we will not replace or reimburse you for any such uninsured losses or damages. If you accept those terms, which are to not hold CatholicMax.com liable for damaged, lost or stolen uninsured items in the mail to you, then we will waive insuring your package, and ship it only Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation, minus the cost of insurance. Shipping & processing fees include our service, processing, packaging and delivery costs for your order.

In-stock merchandise takes 4-10 business days for processing, and packaging. After that time period, it ships out via United States Postal Service Priority Mail and typically arrives in 3-7 business days, following the 4-10 business days for processing and packaging. Some items may ship out faster, but generally, if you choose Priority Mail, you will receive your order in 3 to 4 weeks after placing your order. Other faster shipping methods are available for additional costs.

Out of Stock and Backordered Merchandise

In the event any item you ordered runs out of stock while your order is undergoing fulfillment, we will notify you as soon as possible, and you can choose to wait for the item or receive an instant refund. Out of Stock items do not hold up the shipment of the remaining items of your order, as those are shipped as soon as they are processed and packaged.

International Orders

International customers may purchase any of the items listed at www.CatholicMax.com. However, some of our suppliers may not ship directly to some international addresses or any location outside the continental United States. Because of this reason, we may add a double shipment fee to your order. This means that your order will be shipped from the manufacturer to our stateside Order Fulfillment Center which will re-package your order to comply with international shipping and import requirements of the address to ship to. This double shipment means 2 shipping and handling charges: One-from the manufacturer to Order Fulfillment Center, Two- shipment to international (or outside CONUS) address.

If FEDEX/UPS/DHL ships to the foreign address, AND you are aggreeable to paying their charges plus processing fees, then you may request your package be shipped utilizing FEDEX/UPS/DHL. Please be aware that they are not as cost effective as the Postal Service.

All prices are in U.S. dollars. We do not accept personal or international business checks, Cashier’s Checks or money orders issued by foreign (non-U.S.) banks.

International customers are responsible for all custom duties and compliance with customs import requirements of the recipient country. Please check with your Postal center or local Customs Office on what the customs duties/fees or import requirements are to the country you are shipping to.

Please email us your special requests regarding your order and we will try to accommodate it.

International orders are manually processed after verifying payment method, customs duties/import requirements, available shipping methods and shipping, handling and insurance charges.

We do not ship to countries that do not accept the import of Christian goods. Furthermore, we do not ship to countries that show or have a high probability or incidence of loss, theft, misdirection or fraudulent transactions.

We reserve the right to refuse to fill orders that may be a deterrent to good commerce. All attempts to misuse legal tender to include credit cards for the purpose of fraud or the unauthorized use of such legal instruments for such purpose will be reported to appropriate authorities, local and international. All means are utilized to preserve and maintain your confidence in all financial transactions with us and therefore the highest security is practiced. All IPs are recorded for this purpose.

Waiver of Insurance Authority:

Special requests for waiver of insurance for whatever reason, MUST be SIGNED and may be requested by Fax (1-877-907-1949), Email from email of record of original order placement, or letter addressed to: Catholic Gifts Fulfillment, P.O. Box 80664, Austin, Texas 78708-0664.

Waiver of Insurance Authority will state that you, the client, is solely responsible for any damage, misdirection or loss of item for in shipping your order. The waiver will also state that www.CatholicMax.com and Catholic Gifts Fulfillment Orders Processor will not be held liable for any damage, loss or misdirection, nor for any and all liabilities that may be incurred in the shipment and/or receipt of your order. In this instance, our sole responsibility will be proof of mailing your order to you.

Methods of Shipment for International Orders:

For small items, we highly recommend Global Express Insured Mail. We have found that this is the most cost effective, expedient, highly traceable and fully insurable method of shipment to international addresses that is less conducive to misdirection, loss, damage or pilferage. Since it takes 5-7 business days for some of our suppliers to process your order to the Order Fulfillment Center, plus 5-7 days for International Global Express Mail, please expect your order in approximately 2-3 weeks after you place your order. Please add appropriate time for your package to be processed by your local Customs Office. In all, you should receive your order in 2-3 weeks, but may take longer, depending on the length of time your package spends at Customs.

Global Priority Mail is available to SOME countries and may take a longer transit time and your package CANNOT be insured. If Global Priority Mail is available to the country you wish to ship your order to, you may request so, but we will require a Waiver of Insurance releasing www.CatholicMax.com and Catholic Gifts Fulfillment Center from any responsibility for any loss or damage to your order that may occur in the shipment of your order.

All International Orders are manually processed. You will receive, in addition to the automated email you received upon placing your order, a personalized Order Confirmation Receipt Email stating receipt of your order with itemization of Charges to your method of payment.

Unless we receive special instructions from you, it will be assumed that you agree that your (small items) order will be shipped Global Express Mail, Insured, (minimum of $39.95). A Double Shipment Fee as stated above, may also be added to your order for large items (i.e., statuary) in the event our supplier does not ship directly to your international address. Shipment by Global Priority Mail is minimum of $19.95. All Shipping Fees include postage, processing, handling and repackaging. Large items, like statuary, will be assessed actual freight from supplier to our Order Fulfillment Center, and from the Fulfillment Center to you, unless the supplier can ship directly.

For safety of your package and to discourage pilferage, no receipt will be enclosed with your order. For Customs purposes, a Packing Slip with your package will declare “Religious Item, etc”. All orders are shipped Insured, unless you specifically request no insurance. (See Waiver of Insurance Authority above).

Please Note: CatholicMax.com's Return Policy is ALL SALES ARE FINAL. If you agree with our All Sales Are Final policy, check the return policy agreement box on checkout. Otherwise, do not place an order if you are not certain you want to keep the item or if you are unsure if the item is the right size or model for you. Placing an order on our site means you accept our terms that ALL SALES ARE FINAL, no exceptions.

Any item you order from CatholicMax.com we special order for you from our suppliers to our business. We then inspect your item(s), make certain they are in good condition, and repackage them for shipment to you. As we are a family-owned small business, we cannot special order items for you unless you are certain you want the item, for we cannot provide any refunds after paying for the item to be shipped to us just for you--the suppliers we work with do not accept returns, and we are not a large corporation and cannot absorb such losses.

In the rare event the merchandise you receive is damaged in shipping, you must retain the original shipping container to file your claim with the Post Office, as we do not accept as a return or provide refunds for an item damaged in shipping. Contact us by email if the item you received was damaged in shipment and we will provide you with your package's insurance information for you to file your claim with the carrier. If we made a mistake on an item in your order, we will provide you with a return authorization for the wrong item, and ship to you the correct item. If an item is defective it will be replaced with a similar item, AFTER you contact us by email and we issue you a return authorization number.

DO NOT RETURN ITEMS WITHOUT RMA: it will be considered "Unauthorized Return" and will be refused. If unable to return the item to sender, the following policy will apply: UNAUTHORIZED RETURNS will be shipped back to the sender but if unable to do so, item will be donated to a deserving shelter or charitable organization like the Red Cross, Goodwill, Salvation Army, or the like.

We appreciate your understanding the need for our company to maintain profitability, one of them by setting return/exchange policies that protect against abusive returns or returns of unsellable merchandise, and to have a point when we can count when the sale is final and realize profit from the sale to continue business.

Defective or Wrong Merchandise Received:
Our CatholicMax.com team works hard to fulfill your order! On occasion, despite our earnest effort to maintain high quality control, we are humbled by human error. If we make a mistake, we will correct it free of charge, and you will be reimbursed for any shipping costs necessary to return the defective or wrong merchandise to us. And we hope you will forgive us!!! Defective products will be replaced free of charge with identical products ordered.

Merchandise Damaged During Shipping:
USPS Priority Mail shipping, and Rush Overnight shipments are insured against shipping transit damage. Such damage must be reported to the delivery carrier, and the original shipping box saved with the shipping label in order to process your claim for reimbursement directly through the shipping carrier. CatholicMax.com is not responsible for merchandise damaged in transit either from us or from you to us. However, we do automatically insure each shipment through USPS to safeguard your purchase for you. If you receive a shipment damaged item, please email us for further instructions on how to process your claim through the shipper.
